Become a Member of the Pine Lake PTSA for the 2023-24 School Year HERE!

Take five minutes to make someone’s day...

It’s that time of year! We want to recognize our fantastic volunteers and educators. You have admired their dedication – now is your chance to take five minutes to recognize them! There is no better compliment than getting recognized by your peers, students, and parents. With your permission, nominations will be compiled and shared with the nominees.

The Golden Acorn Award – Each year, our PTSA gives the Golden Acorn Award to someone who has given exemplary service to children in our school community. The Gold Acorn Award is reserved for those committed to continuing and dedicated service. It recognizes service “above and beyond” a particular job description. We do encourage that all nominees are current PTSA members.

Outstanding Educator Award – The Outstanding Educator Award was created to recognize individuals who have provided outstanding educational opportunities for children and youth that are beyond the normal scope of their jobs.

Outstanding Advocate – The Outstanding Advocate Award was established in 2004 to recognize an individual for his or her advocacy and commitment in helping to create strong policies relating to the health, welfare, safety and education of children and youth.

Outstanding Student Advocate - In 2011, Washington State PTA created the Outstanding Student Advocate Award to recognize student PTA members who have made significant contributions through leadership and service in their school and community. The Outstanding Student Advocate Award may be presented by local PTAs, councils and regions.

To nominate someone (or more than one person), click on the following link and complete the VERY short survey. Deadline is Friday, March 25th.
