BIG International World & Food Festival Recap
Wow! What an amazing PTSA event. There were many talented students sharing a cultural performance, an outstanding and “abundant” buffet of food from all over the world, so many displays celebrating the 7 continents, and an energetic diversity dance performance with over 100 students.

Thank you to Mrs. Worthington and the PLMS Choir for starting the event off in patriotic style. Thank you to Edna Jimenez for spending weeks teaching students the diversity dance. Thank you to guests: Generation Joy & BLMS students for sharing student-led charity opportunities and to Karate West for a powerful martial arts display. Thank you to all the students and parents that set up displays, brought cultural items to share, food for the buffet, and took time to share and discuss their culture with attendees. Many additional details and photos can be found on the International Festival page.

A BIG Thank You to Ghada Madkour, for single-handedly bringing this event to Pine Lake and organizing all the details and participants! What an outstanding example of a parent who embodies the Pine Lake Beliefs: Community – Respect – Excellence – Discovery – Integrity!
